Hong Kong’s famous Michelin-starred dim sum restaurant, Tim Ho Wan finally opened its doors to the Cebuanos. This is the 7th branch in the country and first outside Metro Manila and the only Michelin-rated restaurant in Cebu.
Started in 2009, the dim sum restaurant first opened when Chef Mak Kwai Pui and Chenf Leung Fai Keun opened a modest 20-seater hole-in-the-wall eatery in Mongkok, Hong Kong. Since then, the restaurant branched out and brought its delicious and affordable dim sum overseas.
Renowned today as the “most affordable Michelin-starred dim sum restaurant in the world,” the accolade was a testament to the affordable yet offers good taste, quality, and value dim sums—in our case everything is below P200.
Along with its set of dim sum, Tim Ho Wan takes pride of their “Four Heavenly Kings,” these are the stars of their menu that diners queue up hours for.
