Topshop and Topman launched their Spring Summer 2014 Collection recently at their store at the Ayala Center Cebu. The shopping party brought together the city’s hip, cool and young crowd who enjoyed an evening filled with the latest eye-catching fashion, exclusive gifts, sweet and savory treats, free flowing drinks and electro dance music spun live by top DJ Marlon Orellano.
In attendance were executives from Topman and Topshop Philippines headed by Group Brand Manager Sharon Ugot. “Ever since Topshop opened in Cebu in 2007, we have received such a warm response from the Cebu market and at the same time a growing demand to bring in the men’s line, especially with the men of today being increasingly adventurous when it comes to dressing up. The opening of Topman late last year addressed the need for more fashionable options for men”
Two individuals who embody the Topshop and Topman ideals are top, influential Philippine fashion bloggers Lissa Kahayon and David Guison with tens of thousands of followers across different social media platforms. David embodies the young, hip and high-street style, which Topman is known for around the world. Lissa is famous for her cool girl aesthetic, mixing styles and often ahead of the trend just like Topshop. Both are style setters and independent making them a perfect fit for Topshop and Topman. Lissa and David joined the other style-savvy Cebuanos at the party, dishing out fashion tips and their takes on the latest trends.
To mark the arrival of their latest collection, Topshop raffled off a shopping spree to some of the party’s guests. Lady luck shone on Samantha Benitez, KD Syiaco- Tiu and Sarrita Pimentel while other shoppers received exclusive Topshop notebooks. Everyone was seen having an incredible time as drinks, hors d’ oeuvres, good music and warm company continued to flow throughout the night.
