Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino welcomes notable experts in the Food & Beverage industry, with the newest additions of executive chef Danilo Gonzales and F&B manager Anna Corpuz.
Danilo Gonzales, who goes by Chef Danny, has garnered vast experience from working in the country and abroad. A Hotel & Restaurant Management graduate, his culinary influence stemmed from his native province of Calatagan, Batangas, where he worked in a five-star resort. He eventually moved to the capital and was part of Hotel Rembrandt’s pre-opening team.
Prior to his new post, Chef Danny was the executive sous chef of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. With his culinary skills and talents honed by experience, Danilo Gonzales is set to further enhance the dining and banquet experience at the Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino.
Anna Corpuz has spent more than 15 years of experience in her field, including managing some of the country’s fine dining restaurants. She started as a receptionist at the Westin Philippine Plaza Hotel (now known as the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila), before she rose through the ranks and became the food and beverage supervisor at the Pan Pacific Manila.
After various stints in different managerial positions for The Palms Country Club in Alabang and Azzurro Bistro in Makati, Anna became the general manager of the World Spices International Cuisine at The Linden Suites in Ortigas, and later the general manager of the Bistro Americano Corp. in North Carolina. Most recently, she was the food and beverage manager of Widus Hotel & Casino in Clark, Pampanga.
As Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino’s new F&B manager, Anna aims to drive innovation and creativity along with Chef Danny.
