If not, worry no more, we got you covered. Here are some of the best go-to-places for the long weekend none other than in the North of Cebu.

DAY ONE – SATURDAY

Binaliw Spring

Situated in the relax rural life of Sogod, Binaliw Spring and its mystical waters had been a prominent destination to locals and tourists. Unlike Instagram worthy travel destinations, Binaliw retains its simple, unassuming vibe. Because of its preserved natural landscape, the place looks a lot like an enchanted paradise. The fresh and cool natural pool is relaxing and best of all, completely free!

Esoy Hotspring

Done with the cold Binaliw spring? Time to try something steamy. One of the most popular destinations in Catmon, Esoy hotspring water is a haven for relaxation and healing. The hot water is said to have some therapeutic effects to physical ailments. Getting to the resort itself is an adventure. Climbing 150-step stairs to get to the hot springs. In order to prevent overcrowding and maintain the sanctity of the place, the management imposed a “no booking, No entry” policy. Aside from hot springs, you can also enjoy river trekking, fish feeding, and rock viewing/climbing.

DAY THREE – MONDAY

Malapascua Island

From two days of trekking to the last day of sojourn, what could be better ending than a lazy Monday at Malapascua? Known for its dive site and beautiful coral garden, the island is a Utopia for tourists wanting to experience the ultimate out of the city getaway. Lounging on beach shores, walking on the sand, getting a tan and did we mention it’s the only place in the world where you can dive with thresher sharks?
