⦿ A BRIEF HISTORY: The name Zee is diminutive of Cebu and Zugbu, the colonial name of the island of Cebu. Zee Lifestyle Magazine started as Zee Quarterly in 1996. Four years later, in 2000, it printed an additional two copies per year, renaming itself simply as Zee Lifestyle… As Cebu saw itself develop into a busy metropolis, in 2003, two more issues were added for a total of 8 issues per year. In 2004, the magazine launched its Davao section. And finally, in 2012, another two issues were introduced bringing it to its final ten issues per year.
Zee Lifestyle strives to capture the pulse of Cebu and Davao. As a city-centric lifestyle magazine, it aims to inform and entertain with articles on culture, personalities, travel, food, fashion and everything in between. For tourists and visitors, a regular supplement called the Zee Directory is added to its distribution in hotels and restaurants.
